Summer begins!

So summer school ended yesterday, so I'm now officially on vacation.  I always find it kind of hard to get out of teacher mode, as I find that I'm always thinking about what I need to do to get ready to do a better job next year.  It is especially true when I change grade levels, which I'm doing again this year. So I'm going to really try hard to spend this weekend without a single thought about school or what I need to do to get ready or how much I need to do.  Here's hoping it works out!

So, I don't know what happened to me after that two years ago post!  LOL!  I guess the basic turmoil of life was more important to me than blogging.  Well, I've decided that I need to focus more on me and my needs and rediscover my passion for teaching and scrapping!  So I'm starting fresh.  This summer's work related reading is all starting off with Guided Math.  We're supposed to be actively implementing it in our classrooms, but I honestly don't feel like I've had any training on how to really do it.  So, it's time for me to read everything I can to get myself ready.  Any suggestions?
